Are Zaal Market’s blue and pink salts 100% mineral and natural?
Yes. All Zaal Market salts are mined directly from the richest natural deposits of the Iranian plateau and are hygienically milled and graded with no chemical refining, added iodine or inorganic processing.
How is blue salt different from ordinary salt?
Its unique blue colour comes from light refracting in crystal lattices containing the mineral sylvite (natural potassium chloride). This salt is high in potassium, magnesium and calcium and is better suited to people with high blood pressure.
